For the upcoming Rugby World Cup 2019, the Ireland team is in the Pool A. their rivals are Japan, Russia, Samoa, and Scotland. Considering this pool, it is going to be a tough experience for the team to compete.
But since Joe Schmidt is expecting the retirement after this tournament, it will be a specific energy boost for the team to strive for higher results than before. Before the tournament, the team had also played four warm-up matches during the summer. It is going to help them to be on the right track in preparing the upcoming matchups in the Rugby World Cup 2019 competition.
The opening match will take place on Friday, September 20. From that moment, all the team nations from around the world will compete for the William Webb Ellis Trophy in Japan soil.
